Here’s an example from January 2009:
Slip 14
As one of the only restaurants located on the harbor front on the wharfs, Slip 14’s location and great menu make it one of the best spots on the island. The menu is varied, and best of all, it is considerably less expensive than other restaurants that are comparable in their offerings. With Chef Tim at the helm in the kitchen, Slip 14’s menu features fresh seafood offered daily (often caught by the owner Jonas Baker), including a ceviche of the night, fried calamari (amazingly delicious!) and if yesterdays fishing trip was successful, some Bluefin Tuna. Though I would say Slip’s fish dishes are the best, there’s more than just seafood. Steak, Pork Osso Buco and roast chicken are just some of the other quality dishes available. And just to make the whole experience better, sitting outside on Slip’s covered patio on a warm summer night makes you feel as if you’re a guest on one of the multi-million dollar super yachts docked nearby.
