Dish of the Week
*Our first Dish of the Week will be featured on June 1 2009*
Here’s an example from January 2009:
Buffalo Chicken Wings: Kitty Murtagh’s
Nantucket is definitely not known for its Buffalo Wings, and rightfully so. But if you ever find yourself craving a few of those delicious tangy morsels, there is really only one place that stands out for wings. Now, preparing a perfect chicken wing seems like it would be easy, but it isn’t. Often too soggy, or too over-cooked, or too oily, or too small, Kitty Murtagh’s chicken wings pretty much nail it right on the head. Good size, great flavor and spot on texture, the Buffalo Chicken Wings at Kitty Murtagh’s make the pick as the Dish of the Week. Though sometimes it’s harder than you think to find dishes on Nantucket that are normally found every day on the main land, these wings remind you that you’re not too far out at sea.
